3D QuickTools Ltd. was set up by a group of experienced tooling specialists and CAD/CAM programmers in 2002. Our mission is to enable tooling engineers to use the power of 3D design. The flagship product - 3DQuickPress got the support and applause from SolidWorks Corporation and many famous tooling companies even before the initial product launch. The die design system is based on SolidWorks platform to take the benefits of its powerful modeling capabilities. The company concentrates to develop trade-specific functions to make 3DQuickPress the best-in-class solution to the metal manufacturing industries.

3DQuickPress was certified by SolidWorks Corporation as Certified Gold Product in June 2006. The company is one of the most active SolidWorks partners in the manufacturing design market. In 2005, 3D QuickTools Ltd. lined up with ESI Group, the French global leader in virtual prototyping. The co-developed product, 3DQuickForm, was launched in 2005. It became one of the most preferred stamping simulation software offering accurate blank prediction at affordable price. Today almost one third of the new customers purchase 3DQuickForm with 3DQuickPress to handle stamping of complex form.

3DQuickPress was introduced to the international market in 2003. There are reselling partners over 20 countries today. Most of them are specialized in technical support and consultancy in tooling business. 3DQuickPress users are mainly coming from automobile, aircraft, electronics, and medical industries located in USA, Canada, Germany, and Japan. The demand for 3DQuickPress from China and India market increases significantly in recent years too.

In 2009, 3DQuickMold was introduced to the world market to compliment the need for plastic mold design solution for existing 3DQuickPress users as well as new SolidWorks customers who need a professional mold design solution.

The company got the Hong Kong Information, Collaboration and Technology Awards in 2010 which was the highest recognition for technology achievement.
