PEC,
a 7-years-old company, is dedicated to help customers to
improve products and processes. PEC was established by
EDILAR PREDABON, Mechanical Engineer graduated in 1980.
With
over 25 years of experience, EDILAR has managed several
development teams, including tooling projects, and
participated product design like Ship Steering Systems,
Electric Valve Actuators, Plotters, Digitizers,
Irrigation systems and many more. Many molds, die
tools, foundry models, machining devices and tooling
machines were developed.
In
recent 3 years, PEC was concentrated in stamping
processes by applying simulators to assist tools
manufacturing. Being a CAD consultant company, the drive
to use 3D models to solve design and manufacturing
problem is growing. The technique and know-how in
applying 3D design technology is being the flagship
service of the company.
Brazilian manufacturing industry is marked for its low
competitiveness behavior and its high level of scrap,
and the stamping activities are particularly affected.
PEC is working in the direction to provide a new culture
to reduce development time for stamped and injection
parts. We provide consultancy work in die and mold
design, production and tryout. To get the best results,
the company works with products that can improve the
productivity and time-to-market but financially viable
to most Brazilian companies.
Training people to use computational tools like 3D CAD,
3DQuickPress and 3DQuickMold to get fast and better mold
tooling will be our immediate goals. Technology
transfer of the 3D tooling design is the new pleasant
challenge to PEC. Basic and Advanced formability are
trainings frequently organized by PEC and 3D Die & Mold
Design is a new course in our portfolio. |
