Dieset Component Properties Update

This function can be used in any assembly will create valuable information for drawing creation and BOM.

• XPos_DS        X coordinate of the part centroid of showed body relative to selected datum.
• YPos_DS        Y coordinate of the part centroid of showed body relative to selected datum.
• X_DS  Width of minimum bounding box parallel to X-axis
• Y_DS  Height of minimum bounding box parallel to Y-axis
• Z_DS   Length of minimum bounding box parallel to Z-axis
• XMin_DS       Width of Actual bounding box
• YMin_DS       Length of actual bounding box
• AMin_DS       Orientation of actual bounding box relative to X-axis

To update component properties:

1. Click 3DQuickPress, 3DQuickTools, Dieset Components Properties Update
2. Pick Lower Left Corner of the inner plates
3. Select the component which will not be updated. (Some components already have datum referenced to another sub-assembly) and click OK to finish

4. BOM information can be created automatically from file properties.
