Fundamental Design Change

Fundamental design changed includes the change fixed face and stock thickness which may modify the tool design from the ground up.

Set Fixed Face

Set Fixed Face is used to re-define the fix face which is indicated by a RED arrow. The modification is propagate to strip layout

To modify fixed face:

1. RMS  Sheet Metal Object from Unfold Tree and select Set Fixed Face…
2. Select a face as fixed face

Set Stock Thickness

Set thickness is used to modify stock thickness for 3DQuickPress feature recognition based on 2 scenarios:

• Original thickness change
• Round up the thickness of imported data

If the sheet metal part thickness is modified, 3DQuickPress is able to detect it but will not adjust the stock thickness automatically as the modification is too fundamental.

To modify stock thickness:

1. RMS  Sheet Metal Object from Unfold Tree and select Set Thickness …
2. Enter the Sheet thickness

3. Click OK to finish
