To create 2 up die blank layout for the following unfolded part:
Click to unfold the part.
Click to create a new strip layout
Insert the same unfolded part to Blank Layout Folder
In Edit Blank Layout environment, right after the 2nd blank is inserted, the 2 blanks are overlapping initially
Select any entity and click Enable Drag.
Drag the selected blank so that the 2 blanks are displayed properly.
Click the Next Button to enter the nesting PMPage.
In the Nesting Parameters select Simplified mode, and input 3 mm for the blank distance, 5 degree for the incremental angle.
Turn OFF Use Material Paramerters and turn ON Blank Layout Nesting.
Select All Together Mode and Follow Selection Sequence.
Select any entity from the 2nd blank to the component group.
Click Do Nesting to let 3DQuickPress work out the nesting result.
After the result is displayed, click Previous Button to accept the result.
Click OK to finish
Right click on Strip Layout Design Manager and select Edit Strip Parameter
Select Fix Orientation; 5 mm for stock margin; 3 mm for minimum station distance (same as the setting in nesting minimum blank distance); 4 for number of station; and click Optimize.
Click OK to finish strip layout design for nesting result.
