Punch design assembly structure

Vertical Mode

 

This assembly is derived from the punch design.SLDASM in the selected DiesetAssemblyTemplate folder, which is located in <3DQuickPress>\PRL\PunchDesignTemplate\Quick3D\01 (Eng)

0036 is the appended Project Name.

It was derived from the diesetstructure.sldprt from the selected DiesetAssemblyTemplate folder. Information inside this part is shared by all dieset components and the associativity is driven by the reference planes and the sketches. Never create external reference inside this document! Only use it to drive others.

Reference Planes represents the dieset structure, the most important planes are Penetration and Punch Length which controls the die shut height.

Dieset size sketch used to drive the die plate size.

Clearance sketch is used to record the assembly clearance between plates and punches. Click 3DQuickPress, Dieset Structure, Component Hole Clearance to check and set the clearances before create any punches.

A Sketch point to control the dieset centre, modifying this point will update the dieset centre. The best timing to modify this point is after all the punches are created

Sub-assemblies work as Component Buses to carry components to Upper dieset; middle dieset and lower dieset respectively. Users have to Drag & Drop punches and die to the appropriate bus.

Note: In Release 2.1.0 This sketch is relocated to a separate part file DSCtr under each of UC, MC, LC. That means it is allowed to editing the dieset centre outside Punch Design Assembly and eliminate cyclic associativity.
