The Challenge
The Forsteppe Group was
established in 1986 in Hong Kong engaging mainly in the trading of high
quality tool
and die products. Being the exclusive representative of Fibro Germany,
Hotset Germany, Hydrokomp, Germany
and Innovative-Carbide
USA, it aims at bringing customers excellent products and quality which is
not easy in price sensitive China manufacturing market.
In 1994 Forsteppe established 100% owned Forsteppe Precision Engineering
(Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Now located in Nanhui Shanghai. Substantial modern
facilities and precision machineries were invested there.
In order to serve customers better in the Southern China, wholly owned FGC
Precision (Guangzhou) Limited was established in 2004.
The Solution
In mid of 2008, one seat of 3DQuickPress was
installed in Forsteppe. In parallel to use 3DQuickPress at starter
mode, Forsteppe dedicated engineers to build up their company specirfic
components libraries. "We are committed to bring the value of good German
die components and 3D die desgin technology together to uplift the
productivity to achieve the market need of tomorrow," said Alfred Au-Yeung,
