3D QuickTools Essentials Training

This 4-day course will focus on orienting a SolidWorks user in the overall functionality and processes within 3DQuickPress. The focus of this course includes fundamental and advanced concepts for automating die design within the SolidWorks environment.

Prerequisites
To ensure a consistent learning experience for all students, we have established the following prerequisites for the training course.

  • Die Design Experience or Knowledge

  • Windows Experience

  • Completion of SolidWorks Essentials Classes

  • Parts and Assemblies & Drawings

Lack of Die Design, SolidWorks and Windows experience is very difficult to overcome in the classroom environment. Students who lack these prerequisites should realize the impact that it will have on their learning experience.

The 3D QuickTools Essentials Training Manual will be supplied at the beginning of class and is yours to keep.

Students will know how to utilize the 3DQuickPress to automate and standardize their tooling designs. They will be familiar with the 3DQuickPress user interface, unfold and strip manager, punch and die structure, sketching tools and customization techniques.
