Dr. Pierre Lui, Director, R&D
|
|
Pierre brings more than 10 years of research
experience in the CAD/CAM field to 3D QuickTools Ltd. His doctorate thesis
in the allocation of geometric tolerance and surface finishing established a
strong foundation for his analytical approach towards the 3DQuickPress
algorithm development. Pierre also participated in another research project
- PI-Mold, a Hong Kong government funded research project in 2000-2002,
enabled him to know extensively the SOLIDWORKS development environment and
related geometric modeling algorithm. Pierre has a bachelor degree in mechanical
engineering, a doctor degree of philosophy in The University of Hong Kong.
